El Salvador produces wonderful coffee exclusively Arabica species. From the most representative varieties Bourbon with 68% proportion, below 29% in Pacas portion and the remaining 3% remain for other varieties.

Classification Salvadoran coffee, and its quality depends on the altitude at which the coffee is grown , whichever is - the higher the altitude, the higher quality coffee:

• Strictly High Grown (SHG): nad 1,200 metrov/n m.
• High Grown: between 900 and 1.200 m / N m.
• Central Standard: between 600 and 900 m / N m.

El Salvador SHG EP, Rainforest certified  in flavor pleasantly smooth and balanced, has a wonderful aroma, well-balanced body and fine acidity with chocolate and hazel tones. It is similar to the Costa Rican and Guatemalan coffees, Antigua region.
