Year 2012 was exceptional - particularly favorable for wine from black grapes. Even if the varieties Merlot that fact in the winery Mavín | Martin Pomfy confirmed 100%. From Južnoslovenská wine region (Svodín) received extremely high-quality raw materials. High sugar content and quality of the grapes at harvest suggests that in 2012 can be born from the terroir vineyard village Svodín  particularly red wine .

Indeed, Pomfyho Merlot, r. 2012 is the wine a beautiful, deep red color, which confirms a higher degree of maturity of grapes.

The wine has a beautiful distinctive aromatic, full of attractive tones  of black berries, black pepper and fine tone barrique barrel - roasted coffee and vanilla .... The smell is intense, but pleasant, promising to beautiful experience and taste. Wine you taste really disappoints is full of pleasant sensations copying the beautiful, This luxurious fragrance. The taste is full, long, velvety smooth, with a potential which makes it suitable also for archiving ...

Merlot 283, r. 2012 , Mavín Selection, DSC, dry recommended to be given at a temperature of 12-14 ° C.

The wine is perfectly suited to grilled meat, venison with a slightly spicy sauce and the spicy cheese.
