Pezinok castle wines have an unmistakable character , which is a combination of quality grapes from their own vineyards, modern technologies and the winemaking skills of cellar masters. Each wine from this edition is produced with passion and respect for nature.

All wines are made from grapes from our own vineyards located on sunny slopes in Dubník and nearby Svodín . These vineyards are located in the sophisticated Strekovo wine region in the south of Slovakia. The vineyards are carefully managed and various varieties such as Frankovka blue, Rhenish Riesling, Cabernet are grown in them. Sauvignon , Pinot Gris, Chardonnay , Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling Vlasský, Grüner Veltliner and others.

Soil conditions in Dubník and Svodín are ideal for growing quality grapes . Clay and clay-loamy soil with an optimal calcium content, together with the orientation of the slopes in the south or southwest direction, create ideal conditions for achieving the highest quality grapes. The average temperature during the growing season is 19 °C and the average annual precipitation reaches 540 mm. These favorable conditions together with 3350 hours of sunshine during the growing season form the basis for the creation of excellent grapes and exceptional wines.

In the Pezinok Castle Winery, grapes are processed using the most modern technology. Modern vibrating grape hoppers, rotary vinifiers , decanters , filters and computer-controlled stainless steel tanks ensure gentle processing of grapes and preservation of their unique properties. The result is a wine with a pleasant color, aroma and pure taste that deserves your attention.
