HR Winery Rhenish Riesling 2021, DSC, quality wine, semi-sweet, 0.75 l

A full and harmonious taste with mineral and honey tones completes the great impression of this excellent wine.

We recommend serving:

We recommend serving the wine at a temperature of 10-12 °C. It is an ideal partner for fish dishes, for fried preparations of pork, for goose and lox, but also for various specialties prepared on the grill, for veal and more spicy vegetable salads.

Wine characteristics:

  • Alcohol: 12.0%
  • Grape sugar content: 23.0° NM
  • Acid content: 7.3 g/l
  • Sugar content: 26.0 g/l
  • Origin of the grapes: South Slovak wine-growing region, Gbelce

Wine production takes place with the help of the most modern technology using a reductive method. The goal of this method, cooling and controlled fermentation is to preserve the typical varietal aroma and taste, which together with the unique terroir of Gbeliec (the vineyards of the HR Winery are located in the southern Slovak wine-growing region in the village of Gbelce and its surroundings with a wonderful location in the valley between the rivers Danube and Hron , where the cultivation of grapes has been a tradition since ancient times and is typical of this area) gives the wines of HR Winery their unique character.

The HR Winery company has an incredible 280 hectares of vineyards, which are located in the village of Gbelce and in the surrounding area on six areas. (Szedres, Párizs, Papföld, Harasztos, Kaparás and Malá Belá) It has a wide range of varieties and large areas of vineyards, but only selected varieties of the best quality get processed, therefore the production of the winery deliberately does not exceed 130 thousand bottles... .

The uniqueness of the Gbeliec terroir is also due to the fact that it is the hottest area in Slovakia with the highest number of sunny days a year. The soil is humus-loamy in the upper part, clayey below it with marine and freshwater sediments rich in minerals. Thus, HR Winery wines are harmonious with attractive acids and pleasant minerality and emphasize the uniqueness of the region as well as the nature of quality varieties.

There are also 60-year-old vineyards here (Svätovavrinecké, Veltlínske zelené). In 2013, new varieties such as Dunaj, Pálava were planted on an area of 20 ha.
HR Winery currently offers wines made from many varieties, such as excellent Rhenish Riesling, Wallachian Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Grüner Veltliner, Moravian Muscat, Red Tramin, St. Lawrence, Frankovka Blue, Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Cabernet Sauvignon and Alibernet.
