Ritual Riesling (Spicy Riesling) - this great Slovak variety was created by crossing the Tramín red and Wallachian Riesling varieties in 1976 in Rúban – Strekov. The breeder's goal was to combine in one variety the growing stability and standard quality of wines of our popular Riesling Vlasského variety, with the fine characteristics of Tramín red wines.

The south-eastern part of the Ipeľská uplands, formed by tuffite deposits, which are covered with loess clays with a southern orientation of the slope, gave the basis and character of this unique, new Slovak variety from the Hontian "terroir".

In the glass you will see a beautiful, rich golden yellow color with a subtle "pink" touch. This is a clear sign that Tramín manifested itself not only with the beautiful aroma of red grapefruit peel and a wonderful array of herbal and floral notes.

Riesling gives this great wine enough acidity and freshness , which are a guarantee of its complexity. At the end of the aroma, intense spicy nuances appear, which gave rise to the original name of this variety - Spicy Riesling.

What is new is not only the vintage, but also the fact that REPA WINERY wines have a naturally low or zero histamine content , so they are also suitable for allergy sufferers. In addition, no animal-based clarifying substances are used in the wines labeled in this way, so they are also suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
