Even this noble, elegant wine from the Mrva & Stanko winery is proof that the Pinot Noir variety undoubtedly belongs in Čachtice.
After all, Pinot noir from this area is exceptional every year thanks to the climate, but above all the soil conditions - so much so that when Mária Terézia gave one of her daughters away, several barrels of Pinot noir from Čachtice went to the royal wedding table...
The charm of this wine is hidden mainly in the soil composition - in limestone soils, so similar to the soils in Burgundy - the region where the best Pinot Noir in the world is made...
Indeed, the limestone soils of Chacht give this wine a pleasant velvety, nobility, strength and elegance . The wine has a wonderful aroma - you will discover fruity tones of cherry, sour cherry and plum in it, signs of an excellent and mature Pinot.
The taste of the wine is charmingly elegant, noble and delicate. The higher content of tannins indicates that it has a long maturation potential (even 2-8 years), so you can easily archive it at home for later special occasions.
Mrva Stanko Pinot Noir 15 - 17 -19 , quality wine, dry is an attractive wine of light red color, with an impressive aroma of fruity velvety, with notes of mainly blackberry, raspberry, blackberry and mulberry, with noble undertones of stone fruit, autumn leaves, black pepper and seductive fruit sweets.
